About
I am Serhii Povarnin, a Go backend engineer from Ukraine focused on reliable services, telecom platforms, and high-load messaging systems.
My recent work has been in SMS, MNP, HLR, SMPP, SS7/SIGTRAN, service decomposition, queue-based processing, profiling, and production observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki. I like backend systems where correctness, latency, graceful shutdown, operational visibility, and load behavior matter.
Before focusing on Go, I worked with Java/JAIN SLEE, C++, Python, computer vision, blockchain/file-system experiments, and IoT services. That older experience still shapes how I approach debugging, protocols, and long-lived production systems.
On GitHub I keep Go-focused learning and reference projects, including go-microservices-starter, go-web-labs, and go-testing-zoo.
